Off the Hook
Arnold may not be in his prime, but he can clearly still take a hit. According to Arnold’s personal Twitter account, he will not be pressing charges, and will let the assault go. Schwarzenegger Tweeted, “Update: A lot of you have asked, but I’m not pressing charges. I hope this was a wake-up call, and he gets his life on the right track”. Luckily for his attacker, Arnold was in good spirits about the whole thing. In the end, Arnold chose not to pursue assault charges, hoping his attacker could get help and he could move on.
Pro-Tip for all you drop-kickers out there: when choosing a target, don’t pick a bodybuilding champion nicknamed “The Austrian Oak”.
Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat.
